Three Tactical Magic logos featured in book

Although small in size, Memphis-based branding agency Tactical Magic is proving to be big in scope.
On the heels of the four-member firm’s gold award at last year’s American Advertising Federation’s ADDY Awards -- Tactical Magic was the only Memphis agency to win in the national competition, marking the sixth time in the last five years that the company had been so honored -- comes the honor of being included in an international design book featuring some of the best trademark designs in the world.
Three Tactical Magic-designed logos are featured in “Graphis Logo Design 8,” a hardcover publication showcasing the global design industry’s best original logos, corporate symbols and trademarks.
The designs -- one local, one national and one international -- are logos developed for Temple Israel in Memphis; NV Brand, a design firm based in Moscow, Russia; and People Saving Pets, a cause brand for Phoenix, Ariz.-based PetSmart Charities.
“It’s amazing that a small firm in Memphis is creating such awesome work,” said Susan Ewing, senior partner at the firm. “Our process is unique, and here is proof that it is effective.”
